Weill Cornell Medical College

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]eill Cornell Medical College (WCMC) serves a global leadership role in patient care, medical education, and research. The previous home page, built in 2005, inadequately represented the expertise and accomplishments of the WCMC community today. By redesigning the web site, we established a powerful identity platform for the institution and created a vast interactive resource to engage a large internal and external community of users.

Below are the designs I personally created as part of the 2010 web site redesign. As head of Weill Cornell’s Web & Multimedia division, my primary role was serving as the project executive leading the internal team of managers, designers, and developers – in addition to presenting deliverables to executive sponsors and stakeholders.

We created a best-in-class web presence for Weill Cornell that provides specific audiences with current, relevant, and engaging content. The institution is now positioned online as a top tier medical college in New York, the United States, and the world (Virgil Wong, Head of Web & Multimedia).”
