RYT Hospital

Virgil Wong will be exhibiting the RYT Hospital-Dwayne Medical Center interactive installation at The HomeBase Project this month. A site tour will be offered from 1pm-2pm every Saturday and Sunday. The exhibition is housed in an abandoned medical facility in the Lower East Side of New York City.

J Boye Conference

Virgil Wong is a featured speaker in the eHealth track of the J. Boye Conference in Philadelphia. He will present case studies for hospital and physician practice web portals built in concert with Personal Health Records (PHRs) - as well as future interactive tools for virtual reality and pending eHealth 3.0 technologies.

Assistant Professor of Women's Studies and Visual Art at Pennsylvnia State University, Irina Aristarkhova, Ph.D. examines the art works of Virgil Wong and Lee Mingwei (focusing on their Male Pregnancy project) through the prism of recent biomedical research on maternal-fetal interface. The lecture is entitled, "The Immunological Paradox of Pregnancy and the Art of Biomedical Realism."

Billions of Robots Heal the Human Heart

Hockey player Philip Brouette was stabbed through the heart by a jealous ex-lover. Witness how innovative doctors at RYT Hospital-Dwayne Medical Center saved Philip's life with an experimental medical nanotechnology procedure called Nanorobocardioplasty.

This exhibition includes a video about Brouette's story, a medical display documenting his operation and videos of past RYT Hospital projects. Video Installations are made possible with the support of Genesis Asset Protection.
